Board of Directors

Our bylaws require that majority of our Board are 35 and under. Currently, our Board are 100% people of color and 100% 35 and under. Youth participate at all levels of decision-making and lead all aspects of organizational development from strategic planning and fundraising to program evaluation.

Hannah Alzgal, PSU, Hurriyah Collective - Under 25

A little bit about Hannah: I am a university student pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with aspirations to enter the fields of healing professions. Since I was 18, I have been involved in various youth leadership positions and programs. In high school, I served in my city hall’s youth advisory council where we helped pass a ban on smoking in our local parks. In my first years of college, I was a part of student government where I was a part of a collective effort advocating for more student support services.
